WHO IS RICCARDO FINZI?
He is a young private eye born in Lombardia who
became an investigator obtaining a diploma thru mail-school from
the institute " Will & Honor " that left for Milano
to start his job. He finds a location in Via dei Franchi 3 Bis.
In this building he meets an old widow that becomes sooner his cook,
maid and a sort of mother. Riccardo knows even a retired police
office, Giuseppe Marchini, surnamed " Ciammarica "who
helps him in many cases. In fourteen novels Riccardo Finzi moves
basically in Milan, sometimes in Rome with an exceptional trip to
the United States where he has to face the Italo-american Mafia.
Riccardo Finzi novels are a well appreciated cocktail of suspense,
mystery with a slice of humor. A movie has been released from his
book titled "Riccardo Finzi Private Eye" directed by Bruno
Corbucci with Renato Pozzetto playing the role of the Italian detective.

THE SNAKE WITH EMERALD EYES |

A rich married woman wants to have back
from her lover a bracelet that remembers asnake with two mounted
emeralds. To have it she is willing to pay a big sum. Riccardo
has only to fly to Rome, take the bracelet and fly back to
Milano. It seems to be a veryeasy work but isn't. Somebody
killed the lover and the bracelet is missing. The detective
moves his steps into the porno film world and the incredible
one of the secret services.

|
Cleo is a young lady who leaves a violent
and egoistic husband for a brand new lover.the abandoned husband
menaces to kill her with sadism. The vice-head of police Salimbeniis
her uncle and ask to his good friend Riccardo to protect her.
So Riccardo is becoming abodyguard in Paris and in the Blue
Cost where passion and death are shining in thewarm sun rays.
There is a question to answer: who is the victim?

A TRIP WITH DEATH |
|
Riccardo is hired by a mysterious rich
man to control his woman during a long trip around the world.,
from Zambia, Mauritius Island , Saint Domingo and Mexico .
More than a bodyguard he has to check her fidelity. "Who
makes love with her is a walking dead man". Tragedy is
waiting at the corner. A few murdered people in an intrigue
that has its solution back home in Milano, with a big surprise.

A death trap is waiting for Riccardo Finzi.
A very silly case just for fun becomes a death trap. Somebody
has been killed and the body put into a refrigerator in the
home-office of Riccardo that is in trouble. Very big trouble.
Now he has to demonstrate to be innocent.

IN THE NAME OF MAFIA |
|
Riccardo and Pina are contest winners organisated
by a famous Tooth-Past company that is atrip in the United
States. Two weeks to spend between new York and Los Angeles.
In the meantime F.B.I. is informed by undercover agents that
the boss of the Italo-american Mafia, Tony Gatto has given
the order to kill a super witness and they fear that the killer
could comefrom Italy and Riccardo is suspected to be the one.
Furthermore the retired boss Mario Coramato has a very special
plan that sounds deadly. So instead of a relaxing vacation
Riccardo is living a nightmare at open eyes. The price of
survival is very very high and a very big surprise is waiting
for him in the last few minutes.

TRAGIC ROBBERY |
|
Twenty Five years ago four bandits assaulted
the branch of an important bank. The robbery Was of over a
million dollars in cash. In a fire fight with police three
bandits died but the fourth, with all the money, vanished
in the air. The cause remained unsolved and after a quarter
of century a manages of the robbed bank received the whole
sum plus the legal interests. The bank hires the detective
Riccardo Finzi For finding out who is the man of the tragic
robbery. The case seems to be impossible but among a world
of deep silence and corruption a solution is found.

|
"You do not need of an investigator, you need a psychiatric"
tells Riccardo to a strange customer with criminal disorders.
A no sense case that involves Riccardo who is obliged to find
a solution among a restrict number of persons. And he finds
the solution, a very sad one.

There is a corpse of a young man in the
cellar of Pina Parenti, cook and housekeeper of Riccardo Finzi.
There is a parcel of an estimated value of five million dollars
vanished. There is a murder of a beautiful woman that is claiming
justice. Suspects are three well known personalities of the
Milanese jet-set. Riccardo has no clients. He must find out
who is the murder but the drug -parcel search is creating
many many problems. Riccardo hates gun but when his life is
in play there is no choice.

LADIES AND GENTLEMEN: THE CRIME |
|
A murdered quiet guy, working as a clerk
in a bank, loved to write stories for television that had
been always refused. Riccardo finds all of them except one
with a stimulating title "Ladies and gentlemen: the crime
". The long search of the script finally reveals corruption
in the network fields, ambition of power and no hesitation
to kill just to reach the goal.

KILL THE DICTATOR |
|
The Milanese private eye Riccardo Finzi
is just leaving for a vacation after the brilliant solution
of an important case when is stopped by a phone call. His
good friend and vice-head of Milano police ask him a personal
favor that he cannot refuse. Riccardo has to investigate in
a murder and has as a client a law firm. The case is very
complicated. It seems to be an execution but many surprise
are waiting for him.

A very special stamp, a rarity as the
Penny Black, the first stamp in the mail history Is the cause
of a murder. The victim is the owner of this stamp, disappeared.
The man seems also to be the natural father of Riccardo Finzi's
client who want strongly to know who is the killer to have
her vengeance. All is happening in Milan from the popular
apartments of the lower part of town to the luxury building
in the city where rich people think about how to become richer.

An Italo-American gangster wins a multi
millions Jackpot and obliges Riccardo Finzi to pick up the
relevant sum not wishing to appear as such a winner. During
the waiting time, estimated in one month, a few people connected
with the gangster is killed and Riccardo fears that his destiny
is death just after payment of the sum. The story is a sparkling
drama a with his right arm Ciammarica and the always present
Pina in her affectionate role of warn housekeeper. |
